Recycling

Recycling is collected every other week for residents who enroll in the program. One recycling cart is provided after enrollment. Additional carts are available for an annual fee.

Enrollment

Recycling service requires enrollment. Once enrolled, a recycling cart with a light blue lid will be delivered for curbside use.

Preparation and Cart Use

• Place only clean, dry, and loose recyclables inside the recycling cart.
• Do not bag recyclables in paper or plastic bags.
• Items placed on top of or beside the cart will not be collected.
• Place the cart at the curb by 6:00 a.m. on your collection day.

Recycling Guidance

Do

• Rinse and dry containers before placing them in the cart.
• Keep all items loose inside the cart.

Do Not

• Do not place plastic bags in the recycling cart.
• Do not bag recyclable items.
• When unsure whether an item is accepted, place it in the trash to avoid contaminating the cart.
