Other information: The Battle Creek Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 214 Graves Ave. Car 3 arrived four minutes later to find a detached shed that was well involved, with surrounding equipment catching fire. A home was nearby. 

Rescue 2 and Engine 4 arrived to extend a handline to extinguish the fire.  Due to the quick actions, the nearby home did not catch fire. An occupant of the home was burned while attempting to extinguish the fire. LifeCare Ambulance treated them at the scene. The cause of the fire is undetermined.
