The city’s Recreation Department is looking for camp counselors, customer service representatives, and lifeguards to help neighbors and guests safely enjoy all the recreation activities and facilities the city has to offer.
Camp Counselors are responsible for their team, including program leadership, the well-being of campers, helping with daily activities, completing forms, attending meetings, and assisting the Camp Director with other work-related tasks. Counselors are under the direct supervision of the Camp Director.
Lifeguards will be responsible for surveying a body of water and conducting rescues to help weak or injured swimmers get to safety. Their duties include speaking with swimmers to enforce swimming rules, keeping track of each swimmer in the water, and administering first aid to injured swimmers. Lifeguards are under the direct supervision of the Recreation Manager.
Customer Service Representatives are responsible for helping guests enjoy their visit and ensuring they have a good time. Duties include helping with daily activities such as cleaning, food prep, answering phone calls, completing paperwork, attending meetings, selling merchandise, and other work-related tasks. Customer service employees must be flexible and ready to assist water park managers.
