Thank you to everyone who submitted hundreds of ideas for our city snowplow names! We now have a list of about 200 for neighbors to vote on!
The naming contest kicked off the city’s annual Snowtifications, the annual series of tips and reminders about Battle Creek snow removal and operations during the winter. Check out the information by following the city on Facebook and Nextdoor. Some of these also appear in the upcoming BC City Connection newsletter, and online at battlecreekmi.gov/snow.
Vote for your top 10 names now through Wednesday, Jan. 31! We will use the top 10 vote-getters to name half of our snowplow fleet before this winter season ends. Here is the direct link to vote for your favorite names.
We will roll out the new plow names in February 2024!
