Other information: Engine 4, Rescue 6, and Car 3 were dispatched to a vehicle accident with extrication, involving a motorcycle and car.
Upon arrival, Battle Creek Firefighters discovered the motorcyclist under the vehicle, and the passenger in the car was pinned inside. Crews performed extrication and, due to the severity of the victims' injuries, BCFD sent two firefighters in the ambulances to continue assisting.
The condition of those involved is unknown at this time. Battle Creek Police were on the scene providing investigation, crowd, and traffic control. LifeCare Ambulance transported the patients.

We are not naming the accident victims at this time. The motorcyclist is a 30-year-old Battle Creek man. The passenger in the car is a 38-year-old Battle Creek man.
They were both in critical condition at the scene of the accident, and that is the latest report police have.
