Other information: Rescue 2, Engine 1, and Car 3 were dispatched to a fire alarm at Kellogg Community College at 4:59 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14. BCFD arrived within three minutes to find no signs of fire from the exterior of the building. After investigating, firefighters located smoke in the Severin Building. The smoke was coming from an HVAC wall unit that was on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished, although contents around the unit were damaged from the fire. Smoke in the building and adjacent area was removed. No injuries were reported.
