BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — City contractor crews began sidewalk ramp replacement work in the Piper Park neighborhood today, Tuesday, June 20.
The sidewalk ramp replacement work will bring the ramps in the Piper Park neighborhood into compliance with requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act, as part of the city’s annual rehabilitation project for 2023.
Contractor crews don’t have a firm date for completion of this work however, they estimate that it could take a couple of weeks until it is entirely completed. Work hours will generally be from 7 a.m.-7 p.m.
While there are no expected road closures during this work, neighbors are reminded to be aware of crews and equipment in the area.
We appreciate everyone’s patience during all work on our city’s infrastructure.
