Youth Baseball

Battle Creek has a long and rich baseball history steeped in tradition. Battle Creek’s Bailey Park is home to a variety of baseball programs for youth and adults. It is also the home to the Northwoods League Battle Jacks. Programs include:

Youth Individual Baseball (Ages 6-8)

This league is for youth ages 6-8 who are transitioning from t-ball into competitive baseball. There will be weekly practices and games. This league will be a combination of coach pitch and kid pitch. Individual sign ups only! Each participant needs their own glove, bat and helmet! VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED!
Location: Bailey Park Convis Complex
Dates: May through June
Times: Times vary, 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Cost: $60 per participant

Little Tyke T-Ball (Ages 3-6)

The program emphasizes fun, sportsmanship, fundamentals and participation. For the first three nights, there will be practice. For the following nights, games will be played. 5-6 year olds will start off with the tee and move into coach pitch after the first week. Each participant needs to bring their own bat, helmet & glove. VOLUNTEER COACHES ARE NEEDED!
Location: Bailey Park T-Ball Fields (near sand volleyball courts)
Dates:

Ages 3-4 (Mondays & Wednesdays, June-July)
Ages 5-6 (Tuesdays & Thursdays, June-July)

Times: Times vary, 5:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Cost: $40 per participant

KCC Baseball Training Camp (Ages 5-14)

Looking to train in the off-season for baseball? Join us for our KCC Training Camp! The camp will be run by KCC coaches and players which will focus on the fundamentals such as hitting, throwing, base running, pitching, catching, fielding and much more!
Location: Full Blast Sports Forum
Dates: Wednesday evenings in November and December
Cost: $80
